In this challenging interim time for Breath of Life, we are continually in need of help with housing for some of our clients that come to us. We, as a ministry, feel so strongly that we have to do more than tell these women, "Don't Abort." We have to be willing to walk alongside of them. That's what we're called to do. We can each give in different ways. That's what I love about the body of Christ.
Although the majority of the time we are able to find housing near the young woman calling in for help (whether it's in Austin or somewhere around the nation), every so often we come up short.
We are currently seeking housing for two of our clients. They are both pregnant and seeking a safe environment in which to live during their pregnancy. We are looking for families or individuals willing to provide a room and kitchen access for these women to move forward in their lives in a healthy environment.
We are in a time crunch as they are in unhealthy situations and we want to begin our nurturing relationship with them as soon as we possibly can. Glenda Kyle, our Client Service Director, along with myself, are currently meeting with those interested in such a mentoring opportunity.
