BOL Update 11.10.08
Monday, November 10th 2008 @ 3:42 PM
Well, it's finally here....our big banquet week!!! Yahoo!!! We are so excited about this special evening. You'll meet two of the very first Sarah's House (CA) residents and hear how God has shaped their lives after their time with the ministry. The story is so beautiful and so amazing. Watching God continue to entwine His leading and love throughout their lives is so encouraging and spirit lifting.
You'll also be entertained by one of our very own Sarah's House (TX) babies, now 4 1/2 who is sure she is meant to be on Broadway. You don't want to miss this! As usual, we'll have filet mignon and shrimp and all the fixin's that make for a scrumptous, top of the line meal. We'll be entertained by the big band, The Juke Jammers and have a beautiful evening of enjoying fellowship and the encouragement that only God brings.
If you haven't purchased your tickets....WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? Needless to say, with the economy as it is, we know an evening out can be a challenge. That's why our ministry only charges per plate what the Doubletree does, so as many want to can afford to come.
The Silent Auction is icing on the cake!
We're hoping to be able to sponsor and invite all of our graduates to join us for the evening. We've set up free childcare for them and hope to be able to offer them each a meal, au gratis. Can you help? It's important for these women to return to those who have loved them unconditionally in a traumatic period in their lives and be reminded of how much they are truly loved. The evening is always so inspirational.
In other news....
We have received a call recently from a graduate who is within a semester away from completing her nursing degree, which would enable her complete independence. However, at this writing, she is facing eviction due to the fact that half of her state provided childcare was discontinued, causing her to have to work many more hours to pay her rent.
I recognize that this is a much too familiar scenario across our land right now. But I'm taking this to our supporters and the body of Christ asking for help. I believe strongly in the future of this mother and her precious tiny two year old and know that God has a mighty future for the two of them. Getting this close to her goal of self-depency and coming up short is only something satan would try to use. If you can help, please earmark your donations "Nursing Help" and mail them to us at:
Breath of Life Maternity Ministries
P.O. Box 202995

Any amount of gift will help her.
That wraps it up for this moment in time....but I'm sure God will do something again any moment to remind us here at BOL what an amazing God we serve who loves to take care of us. May you be greatly encouraged today by His love for you.
