Update 9.22.08

Another busy week at Breath of Life.  We received many positive notes regarding the newsletter and we appreciate your encouragement.  We also appreciate the gifts that have been returned in the giving envelopes. THANK you!

This week's ministry opportunities and calls for help were just as poignant and painful as they usually are.  We received a phone call from a precious woman who, through her tears, described an abusive marriage situation and a pregnancy in danger of being injured or terminated due to the constant threat of physical injury.  Please pray for this young woman.  We quickly directed her to a safe and nurturing maternity home so that she and her little one can be loved on, counseled and delivered safely.  Please keep her in your prayers.

We've had several requests for an update on the Kyles' grandbaby, little unborn Aaron.  He continues to grow and have a safe, healthy pregnancy with his mommy, Lauri.  Keep those prayers coming!

We welcome Chris and Lucia this week as they dug into the huge project of finding all of the maternity homes across the nation.  What troopers!  And another special thank you this week to Lisa Gilman, who helped us get our bulk mailing out.  It takes a lot of volunteers to make a ministry of this size run.  We can always use more!
