Benefiting Breath Of Life Maternity Ministries

What is a Rock-A-Thon, you may ask? It’s a unique event where teens will come together to make a difference in the lives of others by rocking for twelve hours, in rocking chairs! The event will take place at New Hope Community Church: 2330 Dry Creek Drive, Round Rock, beginning at 9:30 p.m. on Friday August 6th and ending at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday August 7th. Plenty of snacks and entertainment will be included.

Breath Of Life Maternity Ministries is a non-profit organization in Austin. Founded in 2000, the goal of this “local maternity ministry with a global impact” is to help women in unexpected pregnancies, both financially and emotionally, as well as the maternity homes which provide aid to them. The Rock-A-Thon event is a key fundraiser for this vital ministry, all pulled off by the motivation of youth who are passionate to save lives.

Those who sign up for the Rock-A-Thon will collect sponsorships to rock all night. There will be special top prizes and incentives for those who collect the most money in sponsorships and recruit the most rockers! Join our fun, unique, very worthwhile event!
