Breath of Life Maternity Ministries
A ministry whose focus and goal is to establish support, both financially and emotionally, for women in unplanned pregnancy and the Christian maternity homes that provide aid to them.
When a woman chooses life, it requires more than supporting them through the 9 months of pregnancy. This is only the beginning! We answer phone calls daily from women urgently needing someone to help them at that moment.
Breath of Life Maternity Ministries is committed to a long term vision of walking hand-in-hand with these courageous women through the healing and heartache allowing God’s grace to completely transform their lives and create a new future for these women, their children and supporting families.
Ministries:
Christian Maternity Home Network – Cultivating community among the Christian maternity homes nationally and internationally by sharing knowledge and resources to expand support for women choosing life.
Maternity Ministry Training & Resource – Using the knowledge, experience and resources God has given us to prepare others for working within a maternity ministry.
Sarah’s House Maternity Home – A Christian home environment for women 18 years and older who are pregnant and in need of housing in the Austin, TX metro area. This arm of the ministry is currently suspended while we focus on building. However, we work daily helping the pregnant women who call for help find a safe, nurturing environment in which to live with our referral network, and give them transitional housing when possible through local Shepherding Homes.
In His Steps AfterCare – A housing program following the mother’s successful completion of the prenatal residential program. This program, for both parenting and adoption placing clients, provides the continuum of a strong foundation as they continue their forward movement in their life. This program is also currently suspended as we anticipate the creation of a much larger facility.
Sarah’s Song Concert Ministry – A ministry of music that provides love, encouragement, guidance and financial help for Christian maternity homes.
BirthFamily Support – Embracing the unique and incredible honor of walking a birthmom, birthfather and their families through the journey of adoption. Counseling and support groups are available to connect those who are currently going through, or who have been through, an adoption. This group is open to the community.
Future Growth:
Loving Hearts Christian Adoption Agency – An extension of the ministry designed specifically to lovingly provide adoption services to maternity homes and the women choosing this courageous path.
Breath of Life Education Facility – We are currently designing a facility that will house sixteen pregnant women on the lower level and eight women, eight babies on the upper level in transitional care and our administrative offices. We are in the process of a capital campaign to raise the donations to purchase property.
