This is a list of other housing options in the Austin, TX area. They are not maternity homes; they offer help to women who are not necessarily pregnant, and often times their families as well. Breath Of Life is happy to list our findings for housing and help in Austin, with the understanding that we do not necessarily endorse each home listed, but merely wish to offer other options for those in need.

  

Vincare Services Of Austin

St. Louise House:
An apartment style transitional housing program for women and children. It is their mission to provide a safe, nurturing environment for homeless women and children, while helping them find healing, dignity, and the life-skills necessary to be self-sufficient.

Outreach To Street Youth:
An outreach that provides basic services to homeless youth, including hot meals, warm clothing, and safe, warm shelter on freezing Austin nights.

Austin Love Ministries

The Yoo House:
A program that offers housing and lilfe-skill classes for pregnant, homeless women. The young mothers may stay as long as they need to after giving birth.

The Yoo House also offers help for those who are homeless and not pregnant. They have housing for both women and men - not co-ed.

 Texas Baptist Children's Home

A part of Children At Heart Ministries.

Texas Baptist Children’s Home in Round Rock provides a haven of hope for children and families in crisis through its residential programs for children and single-mother families, as well as community-based outreach and prevention programs.
